MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD
SUBJECT: Authorization to Conduct Probable Cause Urinalysis for Private Camille Hanabarberra
- As a commander in a position designated by the Secretary of the Army with authority over the person to be searched, I hereby authorize a probable cause urinalysis for PV2 Camille Hanabarberra to detect the presence of controlled substances or illegal drugs in her system.
- On 25 August 2021, I received a report from Investigator SPC Anna Ortega of the Drug Suppression Team CID office regarding the detainment of PV2 Camille Hanabarberra at the Honeycutt ACP. During a random vehicle search, an illegal substance was discovered in her vehicle.
- After consulting with my Brigade Trial Counsel, CPT David Andersen, it has been determined that a probable cause urinalysis for Private Camille Hanabarberra is legally justified. Therefore, I authorize the aforementioned urinalysis.
