Religious Affairs NCO
As the enlisted member of the UMT (Unit Ministry Team) and Religious Affairs NCO of my section, I have the crucial role of working alongside the Chaplain in staff functions and non-clergical Religious Support operations. I am also responsible for providing expert advice to the Commander and Command Sergeant Major regarding religious matters. Additionally, as the NCOIC (Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge) of the UMT, I have the unique duty of tracking and maintaining tactical capabilities for the UMT, including equipment and personnel.
Team Leader
In the role of a team leader, it is my responsibility to impart the values and expectations of the fire team. I hold myself accountable for both the successes and failures of the team. It is my duty to instill knowledge of the unit’s history, performance, and readiness into junior enlisted personnel. Furthermore, I delegate responsibilities to challenge junior Soldiers and foster their development as future leaders. I actively establish partnerships and work as a cohesive team with other squads to effectively accomplish the mission.
15T MEDEVAC Crewchief
As an NCO and 15T MEDEVAC Crewchief, I am expected to exemplify discipline and maintain a professional working environment. It is my responsibility to uphold and enforce Army standards. I maintain continuous communication with my chain of command and subordinates. I must remain flexible to successfully execute multiple MEDEVAC missions and lead by example.
Section Chief
As a Section Chief, I am entrusted with several key responsibilities, including:

- Enforcing fitness and behavior standards

- Keeping section members up to date on training
- Managing scheduling and meeting section responsibilities

68W Medic
As an NCO and 68W Medic, I set the example by displaying discipline and maintaining a professional working environment. I prioritize staying in top physical condition and adhering to Army standards. It is crucial for me to maintain continuous communication with my chain of command and subordinates. I must remain flexible to successfully execute multiple MED DET (Medical Detachment) missions and lead by example. Additionally, I am responsible for completing annual CEUs (Continuing Education Units) for my MOS (Military Occupational Specialty) and maintaining my CPR/BLS/AED certification to ensure timely renewal of my NREMT (National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians) certification.
Platoon Sergeant
As a Platoon Sergeant, my responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining morale and information flow at all levels of command
- Holding senior command entities to a high standard of soldier care
- Developing junior NCOs to lead maintenance and care for soldiers’ well-being
- Instilling a sense of unit history, performance, and readiness in lower enlisted personnel

Culinary NCOIC
As the Culinary NCOIC in the 10th ESC HHC (10th Expeditionary Sustainment Command Headquarters and Headquarters Company), I strive to excel in my role by setting and exceeding standards for self-improvement and professional development. Within the unit I support, I advise the commander, 1SG (First Sergeant), and other unit leadership on Food Service Operations as the unit’s Culinary NCOIC. I actively participate in all activities and mission events to support the Commander’s policies and enhance unit morale. I maintain continuous communication with my chain of command and subordinates to ensure effective coordination. As the NCOIC, I promptly address deficiencies in the DFAC (Dining Facility) and promote a safe working environment. I provide guidance and support to all members of my culinary specialist team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality meals and allocating necessary resources for their success.
Administrative NCO
As an Administrative NCO, I am committed to exceeding standards in order to accomplish organizational goals and maintain readiness for deployment. My responsibilities include:
- Ensuring timely completion of NCOERs (Non-Commissioned Officer Evaluation Reports)
- Correcting pay issues and performing quality control on Army correspondence
- Conducting Records Reviews for unit personnel, medical readiness, and promotions
- Accepting responsibility for shortcomings and following up with soldiers to identify areas for improvement
- Delegating responsibilities to challenge peers and subordinates for their development
- Supporting the Commander’s policies and the unit by actively participating in unit activities

Brigade SHARP Victim Advocate (VA)
In my role as the Brigade SHARP Victim Advocate (VA), my objective is to strengthen Army readiness and enhance the Brigade SHARP program through education, outreach, and advocacy. My focus is on fostering a culture of trust and safety for all personnel within the brigade. Throughout the year, I will actively organize outreach events and activities as part of the SHARP program. I will utilize my creativity to develop training programs that effectively address the current trends and behaviors observed among the Soldiers in the 32d Medical Brigade. Collaboration with VAs from the Navy and the Air Force will be a priority as we work towards promoting a Joint Service SAPR program that resonates with Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen undergoing training at JBSA, FSH. To effectively support the battalion and company VAs, I will continually learn and grow as a leader, providing mentorship and guidance. I will encourage and motivate collateral duty VAs to actively participate in the Brigade SHARP program and hold them accountable for their responsibilities. Additionally, I will establish systems to track VA training and certifications, ensuring that all victims of sexual harassment and assault receive the highest quality care and have access to the full range of SHARP resources available. It is crucial for me to keep the Command team well-informed about any trends within their formations that may have a positive or adverse impact on the Brigade SHARP program.
Instructor
As an instructor, my primary responsibility is to maintain the Army Learning Module while upholding the highest standards of integrity among students, peers, Assistant Instructors, and staff in relation to Army training, test material, and instructional material. It is essential to provide clear and well-defined goals and requirements for both students and instructional materials. Consistency and structure are key aspects of the course’s flow and content delivery. By using various learning styles, I aim to facilitate the mastery of the material and promote active learning.
Platoon Leader As a Platoon Leader, I have several key responsibilities:
- Delegating tasks responsibly to challenge junior Soldiers and foster their leadership development.
- Supporting the Commander’s policies and actively participating in unit activities.
- Maintaining continuous communication with the chain of command and subordinates.
- Establishing partnerships and working collaboratively with other platoons to successfully accomplish the mission.
Career Counselor
My objective as a Career Counselor in the 5th BN is to constantly strive for self-improvement and professional development, setting and achieving personal goals. Within the units I support, I serve as an advisor to the commander, 1SG, and other unit leadership, offering guidance on career matters. I am committed to guiding and assisting the development of all NCOs using the S.T.E.P (Select Train Educate Promote) system. To improve the functionality of Area 2, I actively mentor and provide training to all AGR and TPU career counselors. I am dedicated to providing unparalleled support to the team, BN, ARCD, and the US Army Reserve. Moreover, I actively recruit and promote the 79V career field to all Soldiers who share a passion for soldier care and development.
First Sergeant
My goal as a First Sergeant in the 330th Movement Control Battalion is to continuously strive for self-improvement and professional development, setting and achieving personal goals. As the unit’s senior enlisted Non-Commissioned Officer, I provide advice to the commander and support the development of all NCOs through the S.T.E.P (Select Train Educate Promote) system. I am committed to mentoring and providing training to all Soldiers and DA Civilians within the 261st Movement Control Team. I aim to deliver unparalleled support to the Battalion, Brigade, and the United States Army.
Information Technology Operations
In my role in Information Technology Operations, I am responsible for sustaining unit information technology systems and processes. Additionally, I play a key role in helping subordinates achieve the commander’s physical fitness goals, which includes maintaining an average APFT score of 250. Developing a MOS Proficiency Program and mentoring junior leaders through a supervised counseling development program are important aspects of my role. I actively contribute to the achievement of G-6 objectives by enabling the GC3T (Ground Component Command, Control, Communications, and Computers Task Team) to successfully complete key collective tasks. Furthermore, I am committed to supporting Army SHARP (Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention) and EO (Equal Opportunity) programs while ensuring a non-hostile environment for all Soldiers and Civilians.
Ranking NCO
As the ranking NCO, I understand the importance of setting a positive example for others. This includes demonstrating discipline, maintaining a professional working environment, prioritizing physical fitness, and upholding Army standards. Platoon/Team Leader As a Platoon Leader, I am entrusted with various responsibilities to meet or exceed organizational standards, including:
- Ensuring organizational goals are accomplished, such as maintaining readiness for deployment and providing efficient and timely communication to the units we support.
- Demonstrating leader competencies and attributes appropriate for a Platoon Leader, such as keeping Platoon members informed about training, managing schedules, fulfilling section responsibilities, enforcing fitness and behavior standards, supervising Soldiers in their duties, counseling Soldiers on career advancement, and prioritizing the safety and welfare of all members.

Section Member/Signal Support Specialist As a valued member of the section and a Signal Support Specialist, I am expected to meet or exceed the standards set for a 25U10 Soldier:
- Installing, operating, and maintaining radio and data distribution systems.
- Ensuring the proper maintenance of selected electronic devices.
- Performing Signal support functions, including providing technical assistance and training for user-owned and operated automation and communications equipment.
- Preparing maintenance and supply requests related to unit-level Signal support.
- Operating and performing preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) on assigned vehicles.
- Installing, operating, and performing PMCS on power generators.
Section Member/Signal Support Specialist
I am encouraged to become proficient in my assigned duties and continuously improve my troubleshooting and repair capabilities. Striving for 100% qualification on the Mission Essential Task List (METL) within one year of arrival is a goal I aim to achieve. I actively seek opportunities for learning and identify areas where I need to acquire task qualifications. As a dedicated Soldier, I enthusiastically participate in all fitness and unit activities. To be eligible for promotion to the rank of Sergeant (SGT), I am committed to completing SSD 1 (Structured Self-Development Level 1) and the Basic Leader Course (BLC). Additionally, I proactively pursue correspondence courses to enhance my competitiveness.
My dedication to duty extends to being punctual and well-rested for assigned duties. I diligently follow the orders of supervisors and strictly adhere to safety regulations and practices. Whenever needed, I seek assistance without hesitation, ensuring the overall success of the mission at hand.
