SUBJECT: Letter of Recommendation for Selection as a Warrant Officer SMITH, ROBERT A. (123-45-6789) Regional SATCOM Support Center (RSSC) – EUR
- It is with great enthusiasm that I endorse SFC Smith for selection as a Warrant Officer in either MOS 250N, Network Management Technician, or 254A, Signal Systems Support Technician. Throughout the past several months, I have had the privilege of closely observing SFC Smith, and he consistently impresses me with his exceptional technical acumen and outstanding leadership abilities.
- Currently serving as the Ground Mobile Forces (GMF) Control Supervisor at the Regional SATCOM Support Center (RSSC) – EUR, SFC Smith skillfully plans, engineers, and coordinates satellite communications network accesses for four unified combatant commanders. His ability to effectively interact with personnel from various services, government civilians, and international representatives reflects his remarkable interpersonal skills. In numerous missions, he has exemplified the highest standards of the Space and Missile Defense Command and the Army, demonstrating the expertise and competence expected of a Warrant Officer.
- SFC Smith’s service as a Network Management Technician would undoubtedly be of great benefit to the Army for several compelling reasons. He possesses a comprehensive skill set and a proven track record of thriving in challenging and high-tempo environments. What truly sets him apart as an ideal candidate for 250N is his unwavering determination to succeed. During Operation ENDURING FREEDOM, he exhibited exceptional leadership by guiding his eight-member team into a hostile area, successfully installing a communication network within two hours—an impressive feat compared to the eight-hour average. Furthermore, he achieved the esteemed Honor Graduate status during his ANCOC attendance and secured a place on the Commandant’s list, affirming his commitment to excellence. I have complete confidence that he will represent the Warrant Officer Corps with utmost distinction.
