Occupies the role of a Power Generation Equipment Repairer within an Expeditionary Signal Company that furnishes and safeguards swiftly deployable, secure, and non-secure voice, data, and visual communications assistance during joint and combined operations worldwide. Undertakes the reparation of generators, conducts technical troubleshooting, evacuation, and ensures quality assurance and quality control for five Power Units, four Drash Utility Power Plants, and 2 Satellite Transportable Terminals. Assumes responsibility for the well-being, discipline, training, and professional growth of four Soldiers.


Power Generator Mechanic

Serves as a Power Generator Mechanic for the Headquarters and Support Company of the 615th Aviation Support Battalion. Assumes responsibility for overseeing, training, and ensuring the well-being of six Soldiers. Maintains the readiness of Soldiers for deployment and organizes, coordinates, and trains them to carry out field level support maintenance on over 200 equipment pieces. Conducts repairs and overhauls on starters, alternators, generators, fuel injectors, voltage regulators, switches, control circuits, and other related components. Takes charge of the management of all hazardous materials, including used oils, fuels, antifreeze, and batteries, which are vital for the accountability and operational status of all assigned equipment valued over $30,000.


52D Generator Repairman

Performs maintenance on tactical utility, precise power generation sets, internal combustion engines, and associated equipment at the unit or DS/GS level. Supervises subordinate soldiers and offers technical guidance to assist them in fulfilling their duties. Conducts repairs and overhauls on starters, alternators, generators, fuel injectors, voltage regulators, switches, control circuits, and other related components. Assumes responsibility for the management of all hazardous materials for the Joint Task Force, including used oils, fuels, antifreeze, and batteries.
