25H10 Test Control Officer

As the Test Control Officer in the Division, your primary responsibility is to oversee all testing actions and requests. You ensure that testing facilities meet regulatory guidelines for security as required by regulations. It is your duty to establish procedures to safeguard and account for controlled test materials throughout their lifecycle, including receipt, storage, administration, and scoring. You conduct test inventories and promptly report any access violations or compromises. Developing testing schedules and Standard Operating Procedures is also part of your role. Additionally, you supervise the testing staff to ensure proper test administration and processing, which includes overseeing tests administered by contract test administrators.

MEPS Test Control Officer

As the MEPS Test Control Officer, you have overall responsibility for managing the testing program at the Military Entrance Processing Station. You supervise the receipt, storage, protection, issue, administration, scoring, and destruction of test materials in accordance with AR 601-222. You schedule and administer paper and pencil Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) tests for enlistment test sessions at the Mobile Examining Team (MET). Furthermore, you oversee automated testing conducted on Computer Adaptive Testing (CAT) terminals at the MEPS. Additionally, you conduct special purpose tests for service-specific occupational classification of applicants at the MEPS.
