92Y System Accountant

As the Supply NCO in the role of a 92Y System Accountant, I have the responsibility for handling the request, receipt, issue, and accountability of individual, organizational, installation, and expendable supplies and equipment. I play a crucial role in property accountability through the Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE) system, ensuring that critical assets are available or ordered. Monitoring sensitive items and unit inventories is an essential part of my duties. Furthermore, I initiate Financial Liability Investigations of Property Loss (FLIPL) when necessary. In addition to managing supplies, I am directly responsible for the health, personal welfare, and training of three Soldiers. Moreover, I am accountable for $60 million worth of organizational equipment.

Unit Supply Sergeant

In the position of a Unit Supply Sergeant, my responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, inventorying, loading/unloading, storing, issuing, and delivering supplies and equipment within the section. I maintain accountability for section supplies and equipment, including issuing sub-hand receipt equipment within the SASMO section. Operating SASMO computers is another part of my role. Annually and upon change of the accountable officer, I conduct property book validations/reconciliations according to the company’s MTOE.

Unit Supply Sergeant

As the Commander’s representative on all supply issues, I work as a Unit Supply Sergeant, overseeing the request, receipt, issue, and accountability of individual, organizational, installation, and expendable supplies and equipment. I provide assistance in property accountability through the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A). Conducting component, sensitive item, and annual inventories is a part of my duties. I am dedicated to maintaining 100 percent equipment accountability without any loss.

Unit Supply Sergeant

My role as a Unit Supply Sergeant involves maintaining property accountability within the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A) and coordinating supply activities. I review and annotate changes to the unit material condition status report and ensure accurate posting of transactions to organizational and institutional property books. I also determine the method of obtaining relief from responsibility for lost, damaged, and destroyed equipment. Additionally, I provide assistance and advice to the Executive Officer and Company Commander while directing supply personnel in establishing supply and inventory control management.

92Y20/Unit Supply Sergeant

In the position of a Unit Supply Sergeant (92Y20), I am responsible for the request, receipt, issue, and accountability of individual, organizational, installation, and expendable supplies and equipment. Operating the unit level computer (ULC) is a part of my role. I schedule and perform preventive and organizational maintenance on weapons and other sensitive items. Posting transactions to property books and transaction files is also part of my responsibilities. Additionally, I initiate Financial Liability Investigations of Property Loss (FLIPL) when necessary. As the Unit Supply Sergeant, I am directly responsible for $4.7 million worth of organizational and theater-provided equipment, as well as the training and personal welfare of one Soldier.
