Rear Detachment Staff Duty Noncommissioned Officer
The Rear Detachment Staff Duty Noncommissioned Officer serves in Regimental Support Squadron, 3d Armored Cavalry Regiment. They are responsible for the health, morale, training, and welfare of one Soldier. Additionally, they are accountable for the supervision, security, and accountability of all property attached to the Regimental Support Squadron’s footprint. During their tour of duty, they maintain a staff duty log (DA Form 1594) and ensure that good order, basic military standards, and the policies set within the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) are enforced.
Staff Duty NCO
As a Staff Duty NCO assigned to the unit headquarters, this individual represents the Commander in the overall management of the unit. They are responsible for the security and accountability of all unit personnel and property. During their tour of duty, they maintain a staff duty log and ensure that unit policies and standard operating procedures are current. They play a crucial role in maintaining good order and discipline, enforcing basic military standards, and assisting in the development and execution of training programs to address areas of deficiency. Furthermore, they are responsible for the health, morale, training, and welfare of two Soldiers.
Staff Duty NCO
The Staff Duty NCO performs supervisory and management duties at a prescribed level of skill. They handle supply staff duties at all echelons of the Army Logistical System. Their responsibilities include analyzing statistical data and reports to identify trends, adherence to standards and directives, and operational efficiency. They contribute to the development and execution of training programs aimed at addressing areas of deficiency and enhancing individual proficiency.
