94W Electronic Maintenance Supervisor

In the role of a 94W Electronic Maintenance Supervisor, one is assigned to a Combat Sustainment Support Battalion (CSSB) and serves as a key advisor to the commander on all matters pertaining to electronic maintenance. The supervisor is responsible for overseeing both direct and general support (DS/GS) level maintenance on all Army standard electronic equipment, systems, and associated devices. They establish work schedules and prioritize maintenance tasks, ensuring efficient operations. Additionally, the supervisor conducts inspections to verify compliance with quality control and safety practices. Recognizing and rewarding superior performance is also part of their responsibilities. As the material management NCO, they coordinate logistic support and submit reports and maintenance statistics as required.

Maintenance Control Sergeant (MCS)

As the Maintenance Control Sergeant (MCS) within a Support Maintenance Company (SMC) assigned to a Combat Sustainment Support Battalion (CSSB), one assumes a crucial role in overseeing shop office operations. This includes directing various activities such as production control, class IX ordering, combined man hour accounting, STAMIS actions, and reports. The MCS maintains oversight of the workflow efficiency and continuity across five commodity sections: Ground Support Equipment, Communications and Electronics, Armament, Automotive, and Allied Trades. They are responsible for ensuring the maintenance support for 232 units within their area of responsibility. Additionally, the MCS is entrusted with the health, welfare, and professional development of three NCOs and four Soldiers under their supervision.
