The Air Traffic Control Equipment Repairer offers comprehensive technical assistance to the Air Traffic Control facility. They are responsible for the setup and maintenance of the AN/TSQ-198A Tactical Terminal Control System (TTCS) during mobilization. Their duties include conducting field and sustainment-level maintenance on various Air Traffic Control equipment such as communication devices, navigation aids, and landing systems. They perform thorough testing of radar scopes, intercoms, navigational controls, and COMSEC equipment. Additionally, they handle the maintenance of HF, VHF, UHF, and satellite radio communication systems. The Air Traffic Control Equipment Repairer also plays a crucial role in training and ensuring the well-being of three Soldiers under their supervision.
