LODGING IN KIND COORDINATOR NCO-ER

  • Worked diligently with vendors to ensure that invoices were received in a timely manner, allowing the GPC (Government Purchase Card) holder to quickly pay for unit invoices. Met the three-day deadline each month without fail.
  • Overcame long-standing obstacles to ensure that the Lodging-In-Kind (LIK) was afforded to soldiers in the detachment, providing necessary accommodations.
  • As the LIK NCOIC, ensured that all Lodging-In-Kind requests were submitted and that all unit personnel requiring quarters were accommodated.
  • Successfully completed a $23,500 Lodging in Kind contract supporting over 530 visiting Soldiers without any discrepancies.
  • Researched and coordinated with local vendors to establish a series of hotels willing to do business under the LIK limits, expanding choice and reducing travel time.
  • Serves as the GPC holder for the 4th ESC (Expeditionary Sustainment Command) and the 363rd Battalion, maintaining a $100K purchase limit on a monthly basis at the Company level, with no discrepancies.
  • Enhanced and improved the unit’s Lodging in Kind (LIK) program through diligence, attention to detail, and relentless follow-up.
  • Is one of only 200 Soldiers in the 300th Brigade with a 3C ASI (Additional Skill Identifier) and is able to write military contracts as a Contract Officer Rep (COR).
  • Coordinated with vendors and ensured all required paperwork was completed in order to maintain a strong working relationship between them and the Army Reserves.
