11B Knowledge Manager
As an 11B Knowledge Manager, my role encompasses operational planning for an Infantry Brigade Combat Team (IBCT) consisting of over 4,000 Soldiers. I lead a team of 30 Soldiers, overseeing processing operations, logistics, and the management of administrative and intelligence information for the largest Brigade Combat Team (BCT) in the California Army National Guard (CA ARNG). One of my key responsibilities is to provide tactical and technical guidance to support organizations within the BCT, ensuring effective validation of their Mission Essential Task List (METL) in order to accomplish their respective missions. I supervise the execution of plans, tactical operations, and training for six subordinate battalions. Additionally, I edit and prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for up to 40 companies and detachments. With the responsibility for 10X essential Mission Command systems valued at 10 million dollars, I ensure their proper functioning and maintenance. Furthermore, I oversee $6.1 million worth of munitions CL V (Class V ammunition) and serve as the Plans Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC) for the Mission Command Post, contributing to the efficient and effective operation of the post.
