  • Designed a telecommunication network that included a secure network for the transfer of secret emails, tactical mission planning, and reporting.
  • Configured and established a remote network using a VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal) in support of the Medical Wing’s Emergency Joint Operations Center (JOC) deployment plan.
  • Anticipated communication interruptions and ensured the Automated Net Control Device (ANCD) was updated with current and future crypto for comsec (communications security) changeover.
  • Trained over 100 Rangers on multiple communications equipment, improving the unit’s effectiveness in communication.
  • Set up the 3-156 Battalion Tactical Operations Center (TOC) and enabled communication with soldiers in the field.
  • Installed and terminated all tactical fiber cables from the Joint Network Node (JNN) to the brigade TOC.
  • Maintained accountability for 123 items of radio equipment, resulting in the complete recovery of all equipment at the completion of the exercise.
  • Increased the Brigade’s and forward combat units’ communication capability.
  • Provided mobile support to five units and organizations and coordinated a passback mission.
  • Contributed to the effectiveness and ultimate success of the US European Command (USEUCOM) Cyber Endeavor 2020.
  • Assigned as the ADAB (Al Dhafra Air Base) Signal Site NCOIC (Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge) due to exceptional performance with CPN (Combat Proven Network), ENEC (Enhanced Network Encryption Capability) duties, and expertise with the SMART-T (Secure Mobile Anti-Jam Reliable Tactical Terminal) and SNAP (Secure Internet Protocol Router Network) systems.
