Garrison CSM

The Garrison Command Sergeant Major serves as the senior enlisted advisor to the Garrison Commander, Deputy Garrison Commander, and all Directorate leads. They mentor all officers and senior NCOs within the Garrison and coordinate and communicate base services and support for multi-echelon and combined commands. They manage the Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS) installation program and lead the unaccompanied housing/barracks management. They also provide effective communication for installation support to all command senior enlisted leaders across the installation.

68Z Multifunctional Medical Battalion (MMB) Command Sergeant Major (CSM)

The Command Sergeant Major of a Multifunctional Medical Battalion advises the Commander on enlisted matters and sets standards and enforces policies, regulations, and directives. They are responsible for the health, discipline, morale, and welfare within the Medical Battalion. They coach and train the Operations Sergeant Major and the First Sergeants, supervise their professional development, and advise on personnel assignments. They also facilitate the talent management of all Soldiers across the entire command and act as the Commander’s representative in supervising vital aspects of battalion operations.

12A60 Engineer Battalion CSM

The Command Sergeant Major of an Engineer Battalion advises the Commander on enlisted matters and ensures the enforcement of standards, policies, regulations, and directives. They are responsible for the health, discipline, morale, and welfare within the Engineer Battalion. They coach and train the First Sergeants, supervise their professional development, and provide guidance on personnel assignments. They also act as the Commander’s representative in supervising critical aspects of battalion operations.

Command Sergeant Major

As the Command Sergeant Major of a Cavalry Squadron, they serve as the senior Noncommissioned Officer within the squadron and advise the Commander on enlisted matters. They plan, coordinate, synchronize, and manage sustainment support, including fuel, ammunition, transportation, and maintenance. They are responsible for the leadership, mentorship, and training of personnel within their area of responsibility.

The Battalion Command Sergeant Major of an Expeditionary Signal Battalion is responsible for the global deployment and operational readiness of C4I (command, control, communications, computers, and intelligence) platforms and services. They serve as the principal enlisted advisor to the commander and are responsible for enforcing established policies and standards. They also oversee the welfare, discipline, training, personnel management, and professional development of Soldiers within the battalion.

Medical Recruiting Battalion Command Sergeant Major

As the senior NCO of a Medical Recruiting Battalion, they serve as the primary enlisted advisor to the Battalion Commander on all Soldier, morale, and recruiting issues. They oversee all aspects of recruiting production, including mission planning and applicant processing for commissioned officers in the Army Medical Department. They are responsible for the training and professional development of Soldiers and DA civilians serving in Medical Recruiting Stations.

Brigade Command Sergeant Major

The Brigade Command Sergeant Major serves as the Senior Enlisted advisor to the Brigade Commander for a recruiting brigade. They develop tactics, techniques, and procedures to shape and sustain the recruiting force and mission. They enforce policies, regulations, and directives, and develop subordinates to become independent of supervision. They provide strategic input and advice on Soldier, morale, and recruiting issues, and ensure consistent transformation.

103-03 Command Sergeant Major

As the Command Sergeant Major of an Infantry Battalion, the 103-03 Command Sergeant Major is the senior Noncommissioned Officer within the Infantry Battalion. They advise the Commander concerning enlisted ranks and are responsible for the health, discipline, morale, and welfare of the Battalion. They serve as the Battalion’s senior enlisted trainer, working closely with company command teams to coach and train First Sergeants and Platoon Sergeants, supervise their professional development, and provide advice on personnel assignments. They also act as the Commander’s representative in supervising vital aspects of battalion operations, as determined by the Commander and themselves.

11Z Command Sergeant Major

The 11Z Command Sergeant Major supervises an Infantry Battalion and is responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and participating in activities related to organization, training, combat operations, and intelligence of units at the battalion level or higher. They provide tactical and technical guidance to subordinates and professional support to both subordinates and superiors in the accomplishment of their duties. As the principal noncommissioned officer in an infantry battalion, they supervise the processing of operations and intelligence information.
