Human Resources Officer

As a Human Resources Officer, your primary responsibility is the administration, morale, and welfare of a diverse workforce consisting of over 30 officers, NCOs, and Department of the Army Civilians. You maintain daily personnel accountability and reporting, ensuring that hand receipts and equipment are properly accounted for. Your role involves tracking and monitoring various forms of internal and external correspondence, such as OERs, NCOERs, awards, leaves and passes, taskers, and congressionals. Additionally, you manage division rosters and oversee various administrative duties to ensure smooth HR operations.

Human Resources (HR) Technical Officer

As an HR Technical Officer, you are entrusted with executing comprehensive HR services and providing administrative support functions for an Airborne Infantry Brigade Combat Team (BCT) consisting of over 3,500 personnel. You serve as the primary advisor to the Brigade S-1, offering guidance on all HR matters. In your role, you manage the Brigade S-1 Human Resources Services & Support (HRSS) section and provide direction to Battalion S1 sections. Your responsibilities include overseeing the administrative processing of military evaluations, decorations and awards, promotions, and individual personnel actions. You are also responsible for maintaining and updating individual Soldier records. Additionally, you take on additional duties such as serving as the Site Survey Manager for the Common Access Card system and acting as the Information Assurance Security Officer (IASO). Your supervisory responsibilities include overseeing a team of six Human Resources paratroopers.

Manpower Branch HR Technician, USARAF

In your role as a Manpower Branch HR Technician for United States Army Africa (USARAF), the Army Service Component Command (ASCC) for United States Africa Command (USAFRICOM), you are responsible for providing HR support to over 2,000 civilian and military personnel. Serving as the Subject Matter Expert on HR-related policies, procedures, and systems, you offer technical assistance to the ASCC G1, Directorate Principals, and the Command Group. Your responsibilities include managing the USARAF Awards program, processing award recommendations, and coordinating with USAHRC Awards Branch and USAREUR G1 for higher-level awards. You also serve as the focal point for eMILPO, TOPMIS II, and EDAS within the command. Additionally, you handle duties related to Voting Assistance, Publications Officer, and MACOM PAS Chief.

Brigade Assistant S-1/Officer Strength Manager

In your role as the Brigade Assistant S-1 for a Force Entry Aviation Brigade (UA), which comprises six battalions and a Headquarters Company with approximately 2,900 Soldiers, you provide support and advice to the Command Group and subordinate unit S-1 personnel on human resources issues. This includes readiness, personnel accounting and strength reporting, casualty operations, replacement operations, and essential personnel services such as officer evaluations, finance, officer promotions, and personnel actions. Additionally, you lead and mentor a combat-ready Human Resource Management Center comprising 11 enlisted Soldiers who are crucial to the Division’s worldwide deployment mission.
