25S30 – SATCOM System Supervisor

I assume the role of SATCOM Systems Supervisor at the Camp Carroll strategic earth terminal, representing a strategic signal company. My responsibilities encompass the operations and maintenance of an AN/GSC-52 V(1) satellite terminal, which provides crucial strategic and tactical communications services across the Korean peninsula, Japan, Hawaii, and the United States. These services support the United Nations Command (UNC), Combined Forces Command (CFC), United States Forces Korea (USFK), and Eighth Army Commanders. Additionally, I oversee the management of systems support equipment, two vehicles, and one facility, all valued at over $3.2 million. Furthermore, I am entrusted with the welfare, morale, discipline, and professional development of one civilian, four NCOs, and thirteen soldiers.


Senior Satellite Communications Operator Maintainer (25S20)

As the senior satellite technician within the Signal, Intelligence & Sustainment Company, Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, I am part of the only Airborne Division in the United States Army. Supporting the Global Response Force mission, which can deploy to any location worldwide within 18 hours, I am responsible for managing the communication capabilities, training, and operational readiness of an AN/TSC-169B Unit Hub SATCOM Truck. This ensures reliable communication at the division level. Additionally, I oversee the well-being, training, and supervision of four soldiers. Moreover, I am directly accountable for a Company Commo Cage and CBRN Cage, as well as all associated equipment within them, valued at over $4 million.


25B30 – Senior SATCOM NCO

Within a forward-deployed Expeditionary Signal Battalion, I hold the position of Senior Satellite Communications Systems NCO. Offering above-user level support, I contribute to the installation, operation, readiness, and maintenance of 24 WIN-T INC1c satellite communication systems within the xxx Battalion. Furthermore, I provide support to the Battalion Engineering Cell in Satellite Access Requests, dissemination, maintenance, and extensions of Satellite Access Authorizations. Additionally, I am involved in planning, coordination, maintenance, and configuration of tactical Satellite Communication links throughout the South West Asia region. Ensuring the well-being, morale, and welfare of two NCOs and four soldiers is also part of my responsibilities.


25S2O, Senior SATCOM OPR-MNT

At the 181st Signal Company, I hold the position of shift supervisor and senior technician. This company provides direct support to global NCA, NATO, EUCOM, CENTCOM, DISA missions, and contingencies. My role revolves around managing the communication capabilities, training, and operational readiness of 13 satellite systems comprising 347 racks of equipment. This ensures reliable communication. Additionally, I oversee a shift consisting of six soldiers, one noncommissioned officer, three Department of the Army Contractors (DAC), and an eight-person Contractor Support Team (CST). Moreover, I bear direct responsibility for a SATCOM facility valued at over $400 million.


25S3O Transmissions Systems Supervisor

Within a Forward Signal Company, I serve as a Transmissions Systems Supervisor. My duties entail the installation, operation, and maintenance of communication subsystems and communications security devices. I am entrusted with the well-being, morale, training, professional development, and welfare of seven soldiers. Ensuring the readiness of three AN/TSC 167(B) (STT) and three AN/TRC-190D (V)3 (HCLOS), valued at $1,829,013.00, is also part where I left off, I fulfill the role of a Transmissions Systems Supervisor within a Forward Signal Company. My responsibilities encompass the installation, operation, and maintenance of communication subsystems and communications security devices. Additionally, I am entrusted with the well-being, morale, training, professional development, and welfare of seven soldiers under my command. It is my duty to ensure the readiness of three AN/TSC 167(B) (STT) and three AN/TRC-190D (V)3 (HCLOS) systems, which hold a value of $1,829,013.00. Moreover, I take charge of planning, coordinating, and configuring the direct installation, maintenance, and management of tactical satellite communication systems for command and control purposes in support of V Corps and USAREUR.
