Battalion Operations Sergeant

Assumes the critical role of Battalion Operations Sergeant within a hybrid signal battalion, responsible for the well-being and coordination of 324 Soldiers and Army Civilians, deployed across three geographically dispersed installations, in support of the U.S. Army Alaska (USARAK). Provides expert advice to the S3 on satellite operations, meticulously prepares operations orders, coordinates gateway and satellite access requests, and actively assists in the installation and operation of tactical communications packages. Takes charge of coordinating, assigning, and monitoring taskings from higher headquarters, while ensuring timely preparation and transmission of battalion updates. Additionally, serves as a dedicated Unit Safety Warrior.

25P3O NCOIC, Combat Sustainment Support Battalion

Fulfills the vital role of Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC) for the 373rd Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, specifically within the Sustainment Automation Support Management Office (SASMO). Responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of 234 Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS), which cater to the needs of over 1,100 customers across eight companies within the battalion. Provides essential communication support for Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT), Combat Service Support Automation Information Systems Interface (CAISI), and the Standard Army Maintenance System – Enhanced (SAMS-E). Exhibits expertise in delivering network technical training and guidance to two NCOs and six Soldiers.

Maintenance Team Chief

Assumes the pivotal position of Maintenance Team Chief, entrusted with the configuration, alignment, operation, and unit level and direct support maintenance of microwave communications and technical control equipment, along with associated devices. Demonstrates proficiency in conducting maintenance and systems troubleshooting on Digital Group Multiplexor (DGM), TROPO, and Mobile Subscriber Equipment (MSE). Diligently monitors, isolates faults, and restores telecommunications circuits, trunk groups, systems, and the relevant commercial and military interface equipment.
