15F300 Production Control NCOIC
The Production Control NCOIC assists the PC OIC (Production Control Officer in Charge) maintenance manager and coordinator in the maintenance company. They play a key role in coordinating maintenance activities at the company and battalion levels. They serve as one of the maintenance company commander’s primary maintenance advisors for all internal production and maintenance activities. In the absence of the PC OIC, they take on the responsibility of coordinating all maintenance actions. They work closely with quality control (QC), backshops, maintenance teams, technical supply, and flight companies to establish priorities of work and ensure smooth operations.
Component Repair Platoon Sergeant
The Component Repair Platoon Sergeant serves in an Aviation Support Battalion (ASB) and is responsible for the maintenance and logistical support of a large number of rotary wing helicopters. They oversee the repair of aircraft and components within their platoon, which consists of soldiers from five different Military Occupational Specialties (MOS). They are responsible for the professional development, training, morale, health, and welfare of 25 Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) and 40 soldiers. Additionally, they ensure the operational readiness of equipment valued at $8.5 million.
Component Repair Supervisor
The Component Repair Supervisor serves in the 834th Aviation Support Battalion and is responsible for overseeing maintenance on aircraft components, aviation communications, and other systems. They provide support to an assigned combat aviation brigade (CAB) and are responsible for conducting technical inspections and evaluating maintenance work. They maintain records of maintenance performed and identify maintenance trends to forecast resource requirements. They are also responsible for the professional development, training, morale, health, and welfare of 23 NCOs and 31 soldiers. Additionally, they ensure the operational readiness of aviation equipment valued at over $15 million.
