12C Operations NCOIC (Reservist)
Assists the company commander in planning, coordinating, and executing company training events. Provides operational support to full-time staff sections. Plans, directs, and supervises daily operations, including the preparation, verification, and dissemination of reports to higher headquarters and commanders. Develops and publishes training schedules with risk assessments. Assists in preparing the Unit Status Report (USR). Manages the Unit Manning Report (UMR) and manning board. Coordinates the scheduling of soldiers for Operational and Executive Support (OES), Non-Commissioned Officer Education System (NCOES), and Military Occupational Specialty Qualification (MOSQ) schools. Responsible for individual Request for Orders (RFO) input for approval. Manages all orders related to collective and individual training.
12C Bridge Crewmember
Directs the assembly of bridge assets, both fixed and float. Provides guidance to the crew in the maintenance of these assets. Operates and supervises the use of bridge erection boats. Oversees the construction of fighting positions, wire entanglements, and demolition charges. Determines factors such as limiting slopes, curves, stream velocities, overhead restrictions, and gap width. Ensures team members receive performance and professional growth counseling. Trains, supervises, and mentors subordinates on common Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) tasks.
Senior Boat Operator
Responsible for the health, welfare, and daily accountability of ten soldiers. Supervises and evaluates one Non-Commissioned Officer. Trains thirty soldiers in Bridge Crewmember tasks and Warrior Tasks. Ensures all equipment, including two Common Bridge Transporters, one Bridge Erection Boat, one Palletized Load System Trailer, one Bridge Adapter Palette, and two Improved Ribbon Bridge Bays, are serviced and prepared. Accountable for all equipment within the team, valued in excess of $700,000.
12C Bridge Crewmember
Conducts reconnaissance of roads, rivers, and bridges, and assists in site layout. Operates bridge trucks and light vehicles. Performs duties as a deckhand on the bridge erection boat. Loads, unloads, assembles, and maintains float and fixed bridges. Installs fixed bridge anchorage, shore guys, kedge anchorage systems, and overhead cable anchorage systems. Maintains security and accountability of equipment valued in excess of $500,000.
